Favorite thing about Pilates:

How it makes me feel. The mind-body connection is so beautiful and it's allowed me to come home to myself in a way I had never experienced before while pushing my body to reach new limits. I've grown an immense sense of gratitude + appreciation for my body and happily celebrate all that it does for me (on and off the reformer), and it all started with slowing down and connecting to myself + my breath.

I really love DJ mixes of throwbacks or pop songs and tend to throw in a mix of Urbano Latino because it keeps me connected to my culture.

I love the mind-body connection that Pilates fosters and how it never gets easier, but you become more confident and resilient over time. Seeing the self-confidence people build in class is insanely rewarding!

I am an avid reader and I'm currently working towards my reading goal of 50+ books this year (as of right now I am two books ahead of schedule!)
